When a Conversation Goes Quiet

Conversations clear after a while away​

If you haven't sent the AI Assistant a message in more than an hour, it starts a new conversation the next time you open it. screenshot

Why does this happen?​

Your conversation is saved, so it's still there when you move between pages or come back after a short break. After an hour without a message, you've most likely moved on to something else, so the AI Assistant starts fresh instead of carrying the old conversation into your next request.

You can also start over at any time with the 'New conversation' button.
